On 11 July 2025, project partners met in Portugal for the official kickoff meeting of the ArtBiz KA2 project, marking the start of a new European collaboration focused on entrepreneurship education for creative adults.
The meeting opened with informal exchanges about travel and local experiences before moving into a productive discussion on project goals, partner roles, and shared expertise. Partners from Portugal, Estonia, and Bulgaria introduced their backgrounds in Erasmus+ projects, adult education, entrepreneurship, and innovation, setting a strong foundation for collaboration.
The partnership agreed on the development of four practical training modules covering:
Business planning
Financial management
Marketing and visibility
Legal issues and intellectual property
These modules will support creative adults—particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds—in building sustainable businesses. The project also aims to strengthen adult education providers, expand European networking opportunities, and connect learners with local creative ecosystems.
In the coming months, partners will:
Develop module templates and country-specific content
Share case studies and practical examples
Launch the project website and Facebook page
Update evaluation, dissemination plans, and project timelines
The kickoff meeting confirmed a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and impact, setting ArtBiz on a strong path toward empowering creative adults across Europe.
